Welcome to the combined properties of the Stowe Motel and Snowdrift. We offer motel rooms, efficiencies, fireplace efficiencies, apartments, suites and houses available in Stowe Vermont.
We are centally located between the Village of Stowe and Mount Mansfield on sixteen quiet and spacious acres with sweeping mountain views.
Nestled between Stowe Village and Stowe Mountain Resort, the Stowe Motel & Snowdrift are situated on 16 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, bordered by a sparkling alpine stream. There are gorgeous mountain views from almost every unit.
Ride our complimentary mountain bikes on the nearby recreational path, play tennis on our court, swim in our two heated outdoor pools, play badminton and croquet, or just relax in our outdoor hot tub and hammocks. Play ping-pong, pool or video games in our game room. Trek on our complimentary snow shoes on our grounds or nearby hiking areas. Taste our hot mulled cider with cheese and crackers in our lounge next to the crackling fire.
Start your morning with our hearty continental breakfast with cereals, pastries, fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea and juice.
Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter Activities in Stowe, Vermont
Spring:
Spring in Stowe bloom with wildflowers, tulips and lilacs. The mountains are draped in the soft green of young leaves. Serenity and peace surround you during this quiet time of year. Now is a very beautiful and economical time to get away and relax in the mountains.
Summer:
Stowe offers a myriad of activities in the Summer. Ride one of our mountain bikes, take a stroll, jog or rollerblade on the nearby 5 mile Recreation Path. Mount Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak, can be experienced by a drive up the Toll Road, a ride on the scenic Gondola or taking an exhilarating trip down the Alpine Slide. Hikers are surrounded by some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world. Play a round of golf, take in a movie or play at the local theatres, Sunday Concert in Trapp's Meadow while having a picnic dinner, take a canoe or kayaking trip, ride in a glider or hot air balloon, create your own pottery, go horseback riding, fly fish or in-line skate. The opportunities are endless.
Winter:
During the winter downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating and sleigh rides are within minutes. In the summer enjoy walking or biking on the nearby recreational path, tennis, swimming, golf or hiking in the fresh mountain air.

Ski Packages available.
Payment: A deposit of 1-2 nights for rooms during regular season (or 50% for holidays, suites, apartments & houses) are due upon booking. The balance of the bill is due upon arrival.
Deposit Policy: A guest's deposit will be refunded if notification of cancellation is received 15 days for regular rooms during regular season (30 days for holidays & fireplace rooms, 60 days for apartments and suites, 90 days for houses) prior to the date of arrival. This deposit will be forfeited if your party arrives after the date specified or departs before the final day of the reservation. We will refund your deposit if the accommodations are re-rented. This policy has been standardized in the area for the mutual benefit of guests and innkeepers.
Pet Information: There are only a few select rooms on our property that allow a pet. Thus, it is mandatory for you to tell us upon making the reservation if you plan to bring a pet. There is a daily $10 pet charge. We welcome a well behaved pet under the following guidelines: only one pet per room is allowed; A dog must be kept on a leash outside; it cannot disturb other guests; a pet can never be left alone in the room unless in a kennel (and a number where you can be reached) and never be left alone if it barks.
Smoking Policy: All of our units are smoke free.
