Located just two blocks from the Lafayette College campus, the Lafayette Inn offers the most convenient and distinctive accommodations on College Hill.
This beautifully restored brick mansion was originally built by Elizabeth Wagner Leary in 1895. The Wagners were one of the families who helped settle Easton three generations earlier, in the mid 1700's.
Each of the eighteen custom decorated guest rooms feature antique furnishings and private baths. Romantic fireplaces and whirlpool tubs have been added to the suites, and the Premier Room features a large whirlpool tub, fireplace, and four poster bed.
The suites offer the extra space of two rooms, private bath with whirlpool tub, and a balcony in addition to the comfort of a fireplace in the queen-sized bedroom.
Settling back with a book in front of the fire after a hot bath in the large whirlpool tub is one way to end a busy day in style and comfort in the Premier Room.
The Inn features both a family-style, common table and individual tables to enjoy the upscale, complimentary Breakfast. The Sunroom has been renovated into a a quaint breakfast room with lace curtains adorning the three walls of windows. The Sunroom also offers a light and airy setting for business meetings or catered events.
Whether relaxing with a magazine alongside the fire, or playing your favorite tune on the grand piano, the antique filled lounge is a comfortable setting for meeting with friends or pondering the plans for tomorrow. The lounge makes a tastefully pleasing location for a rehearsal dinner, private party, or business meeting.
