East Hampton is a town located in southeastern Suffolk County, New York and
is the easternmost town on the South Shore of Long Island. The town includes
the village of East Hampton, as well as four official hamlets of Montauk, Amagansett,
Wainscott and Springs. It is bordered by the Town of Southampton to the west,
the Atlantic Ocean to the east and south, and Gardiner's Bay to the north. East
Hampton is known around the world for its beaches, fishing, boating and windmills.
East Hampton is famous for being the recreational playground of New York's elite
