Welcome to the Oxford House Inn, a charming Maine Bed & Breakfast with a gourmet restaurant and spectacular views of the White Mountains in the village of Fryeburg within the Mt. Washington Valley.
We are surrounded by lakes, mountains and the Saco River for year-round activities.
There are four lovely guest rooms, a lounge, breakfast daily and gourmet dining nightly overlooking the mountains.

Each of the four spacious overnight guest rooms is tastefully decorated with turn-of-the-century furnishings. All rooms have private baths with king, queen or double beds, cable TV, air conditioning & wireless internet access.

Relax and watch the sunset while you dine by candlelight, listen to classical music, and enjoy the best food in the area. The creative cuisine here is fabulous and the choices are endless.
In an atmosphere of country elegance, experience friendly hospitality while you enjoy a gourmet dinner by candlelight. Sample such delights as Scallops L'orange, Veal Oxford, Champagne Poached Salmon, Venison and many other specialties with the freshest of meats, Maine seafood and farm-fresh vegetables, prepared by John Morris, owner and chef.

The Inn is surrounded by lakes, mountains and rivers, with many nearby year-round activities.
Summer - During our summer months enjoy sandy beaches, hunting, fishing, antique shops, hiking, cycling, golf, skiing, and factory outlet shopping or escape behind the Inn, for spectacular mountain views from the back lawn and gardens.
Winter - In the wintertime take a snowy walk, ski or snowshoe right behind the Inn! There are cross country and downhill ski areas closeby. SHAWNEE PEAK, a great family ski area is only 10 minutes away, and MOUNT CRANMORE is just 20 minutes from our door. Take a trip to WILDCAT MOUNTAIN & view the magnificent PRESIDENTIAL RANGE of the WHITE MOUNTAINS while enjoying some great skiing and riding! Some of the ski areas have snow-tubing and ice skating rinks too. And there is always factory outlet shopping just 8 miles away, so stay with us and enjoy lots of nearby Winter fun!
